Gondré-Lewis is an American actor from Silver Spring, Maryland. He is known for his starring roles in Sophocles's Oedipus the King as Oedipus, August Wilson's Two Trains Running as Mr. West, and as his dream role of Coalhouse Walker Jr. in the musical Ragtime at Arena Stage in DC.

He's an accomplished voiceover artists, spoken word poet, sci-fi novelist, painter and social media star, with a following of over  1.2 million on TokTok. He  recently graduated from CalArts with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting in 2021.

He is currently writing a tv-pilot based on his sci-fi novel Max Blaze: Re:Generation.
