About Me:

Gondré-Lewis is an American actor from Silver Spring, Maryland, with a foundation in classical, contemporary, and musical theatre. His stage work includes starring roles such as Oedipus in Sophocles’ Oedipus the King, Mr. West in August Wilson’s Two Trains Running, and his dream role of Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime at Arena Stage in Washington, DC.

He is a multidisciplinary artist whose work extends beyond the stage. In addition to acting, Gondré-Lewis is an accomplished voice actor, spoken word poet, novelist, and visual artist. His storytelling and performance work have cultivated a substantial online audience, with over 2 million followers across social platforms, where he shares narrative-driven content rooted in character, voice, and worldbuilding.

A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Gondré-Lewis earned his Master of Fine Arts in Acting in 2021. He is currently developing an original fantasy romance novel rooted in myth and folklore surrounding the gods of Haitian vodoo while continuing to pursue work in theatre, film, television, and voiceover.
